IQ Inc. is excited to start our new Employee Spotlight Series! We like to collaborate and learn about our team members at IQ Inc., so we wanted to shine a light on one of our employees, Jeremy Vogel.
We asked him a few questions, and here’s what Jeremy had to say:
- What do you love about IQ Inc? There is so much to love about IQ Inc. I love how humble, passionate, dedicated and caring everyone is at IQ Inc! What has surprised me the most is the accessibility and humility of the senior leadership. IQ Inc. is truly a diamond in the rough.
- Briefly describe what you do all day? My day as a project coordinator is never boring and consists of serving/leading others, while working collaboratively to solve technical problems related to home respiratory care medical devices. Quite a lot goes on in one day from working with various project managers to then serving several teams. If you had to distill what I do down to two things, then it would be 1) taking ownership and 2) serving others.
- What does your work space look like? My work space is a normal cube with different respiratory medical equipment running for testing. If you swing by, it sounds like Darth Vader lives in my desk.
- What do you like to do when you’re not at the office? When I’m not in the office, I like spending time with my family, reading, studying Hebrew, mountain biking, and teaching my kids astronomy. My whole family will stay up to learn constellations and look at planets with our telescope.
- If you could pick one superpower, what would it be? If I could have one superpower, it would be super speed like The Flash. With super speed, I could get things done faster and I would not have to spend lots of money on travel. Although my food bill would go up!
- What inspires you? What inspires me are people that serve others well and pursue their dreams. I love hearing about people creating a non-profit or a business to serve people. A specific example of a non-profit that inspires me is Compassion International, which helps impoverished children around the world in need.
