Each year, IQ hosts a half-day Professional Development Conference designed to give employees a chance to share ideas, learn from one another, and explore topics beyond their day-to-day roles. The format is inspired by TED Talks, with employees signing up to lead 30 to 40 minute presentations on subjects they care about.
What makes the conference unique is the range of topics. Past sessions have covered everything from technical deep dives to personal interests, including subjects like automated testing, cybersecurity, imposter syndrome, and even raising chickens. The goal is simple: create space for curiosity, knowledge sharing, and professional growth in all its forms.
This year’s conference took place on September 26, 2024, at our Monroeville office, with both in-person and remote attendance options available. Lunch was provided for those on-site, helping make the event an easy and engaging midday experience.
The Professional Development Conference is a highlight of the year and a great example of how we support continuous learning, encourage creativity, and value the diverse interests and experiences of our team.
