IQ Social Good Update

IQ Culture, News and Events

In late November, the IQ Social Good Committee met to discuss how we could give back to our community, while staying safe during COVID. In years past, IQ held toy drives within the office.  Employees would purchase gifts and place them under a tree, however this year would be different. It was difficult to pick just one “worthy cause” when there are so many amazing organizations in our area so in the end, we selected three; Women’s Center and Shelter of Greater Pittsburgh, The Chow Wagon Program at Animal Friends, and Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. Books, toys, supplies, and pet food were some of the items donated from their online registries. Monetary donations were also given via electronic donation options. In a separate donation, The Blackburn Center, which focuses on the issues of violence and/or crime was also a recipient of a large monetary contribution during the month of December. The hope of helping others was an ongoing focus at IQ Inc. and we look forward to spreading even more cheer in 2021!
