Automated Test Engineer

IQ Inc. is seeking an Automated Test Engineer for a product that will save lives. You will work to deliver innovative solutions with a team of experienced, creative and dedicated engineers. This role will exist in a collaborative environment and improve best practices in design and implementation, in addition to ensuring that the architecture and design are flexible, robust and meet the requirements.

 

Using Java or C#, you will write detailed automated test procedures that evaluate medical devices and systems against documented mechanical, electrical and/or software requirements.
You will conduct statistical analysis of test results, maintain and control test execution records using good lab practices, learn new technologies and gain an understanding of system architectures, automating as many tests as possible.

 

You must have:

 

o BS in Engineering, Computer, or other Science discipline with 1 year of job or school related experience in writing code or Associates Degree with 4+ years of job-related experience in writing code.
o Have C# or Java experience in writing code.
o Comfortable working in various ways (team, pair programming, solo, remote, working with others who are remote).
o Testing mentality and thinking outside the box…ability to see specific requirements in the context of multi-product relationships.

 

Nice to haves:

 

o Cloud Foundry, Nodejs, Spring, Protractor, Selenium, BDD/TDD, Linux, BASH scripting, Angularjs, nUnit, jUnit, Cucumber, SpecFlow, CodedUI.
o Experience using JavaScript, Gradle, Team City, and/or Git.
o Software development using ISO 62304.
o Experience testing on IOS and Android operating systems.
o Experience working with Agile methods, including SAFe.
o Disciplined, regulated industries, including FDA’s 21 CFR 820 experience.
