Michael Duddy, a Business Development Manager at IQ Inc. a technical consulting and software engineering company located in Murrysville, Pennsylvania, graduated from the University of Pittsburgh, Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business, Institute for Entrepreneurial Excellence Entrepreneurial Fellows program.
The mission of the University of Pittsburgh’s Institute for Entrepreneurial Excellence is “to be the innovative leader of economic renewal and growth serving enterprising people and business in the region”. The Entrepreneurial Fellows program is a twelve month series intended to address relevant issues facing a leader of a growing organization. The curriculum combines academic study with guidance and mentoring opportunities from veteran entrepreneurs directed towards real-world business concerns. 2009 Mixers with Shakers!

Thank you to all those who donated to IQ’s charity of choice for the 2009 Mixers with Shakers event – Three Rivers Adaptive Sports (TRAS) the local chapter of Disable Sports USA (http://www.traspa.org/Welcome.html)! With your help IQ Inc. was able to raise over $1,200 for TRAS!
TRAS provides recreation for young and old with various disabilities. A member of the IQ team has a family member born with Cerebral Palsy. Over the past 19 years, TRAS has provided services that has allowed him to become a very accomplished Alpine Skier and even own his own Bi-Ski. He has also been afforded the opportunity to ski with members of the US Disabled Olympic Ski Team.

IQ Inc. joins the Parental Stress Center of Pittsburgh in the fight against SIDS!

IQ Inc. recently partnered with the Parental Stress Center of Pittsburgh to help increase the awareness of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) in the Pittsburgh area. Throughout the month of August, IQ collected items which will be provided to low-income families at Safe Sleeping Workshops for parents. Thank you to all who donated!
